SHANNON FAIRCHILD
Development Executive
Born in Little Rock, Arkansas to two Texans and raised in the great cities of the rust belt, Detroit & Cleveland, Shannon Fairchild took a Masters degree in Creative Writing and has been involved with storytelling, in one form or another, ever since. She worked in marketing communications in NYC for several years before moving to London, where she earned a PhD in Theatre and Dramatic Arts and spent nearly a decade as Co-Artistic Director of London-based Eclectic Theatre Company. Following this, she retreated to rural New Hampshire where she was the Area Team Leader for Barack Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign whilst running her apple orchard and inn. Returning to London in 2014, she worked in programming for “Ways with Words” literary festivals, then as a reader and IP-scout for Chloe Dunbar, Development Executive at Channel 4 and Head of Development at Hera Pictures.
In early 2018, Shannon started working with Island Pictures where she is currently Development Executive.
